Privacy Policy

This policy covers zTrivia+ Join, the classic mobile and browser experience used to join a trivia game running on a host screen. Tapperly Ltd is responsible for the processing described here.

Data We Collect

Lobby profile information, including the display name and avatar you choose for a game.
Gameplay information, including answers, scores, participation, progress, and results.
App, device, and session information, including app or browser version, operating system, device type, session identifiers, IP address, and timestamps.
Operational logs and diagnostics used to detect errors, maintain security, and keep the service reliable.
Anonymous analytics identifiers and events, including landing-page views, store-link selections, and game-session activity.

How We Use Data

To connect your device to the hosted lobby and run the trivia game.
To calculate and display scores, rankings, progress, and results.
To measure feature use and improve the join and gameplay experience.
To diagnose faults, secure the service, and prevent abuse.
To provide and measure advertising and comply with legal obligations.

Analytics

zTrivia+ uses anonymous identifiers to group events from the same app or browser and session. Landing analytics include screen_view for the download funnel and download_cta_click when an App Store or Google Play link is selected. These events do not include your lobby code.

Advertising and Google AdMob

The app uses Google AdMob to provide advertising. Google AdMob may process advertising identifiers, device and app information, ad requests, impressions, ad interactions, and diagnostic information. Its processing is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Sharing and Processors

We do not sell personal data. We use service providers for hosting, infrastructure, security, diagnostics, analytics, and advertising. Google processes AdMob data as described above. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect users and the service.

Retention

Active game, session, analytics, and operational data is retained while it is needed to provide, secure, diagnose, and improve zTrivia+ or to meet legal obligations. When a verified deletion request can be matched to active-system records, Tapperly completes that deletion within 30 days. Anonymous aggregate statistics that can no longer be linked to a person may remain.

Your Choices and Rights

Your device settings may let you reset or limit use of its advertising identifier. Where required, the app will request consent for relevant data processing. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or receive a copy of your personal data.

Delete your zTrivia+ data

zTrivia+ is provided by Tapperly Ltd. You can request deletion even if you no longer have the app installed.

How to request deletion

Email contact@yamyammobile.com with the subject “zTrivia+ data deletion request”.
Include the lobby display name, approximate date and time of play, device platform, and lobby or game code if you still have it. This lets us locate data that is not connected to an account.
We may ask for limited additional session details needed to match the request. Tapperly will confirm and complete a verified request within 30 days.

What Tapperly deletes

Matched lobby display names, avatars, gameplay, scores, and participation.
Matched app and session identifiers, including anonymous_id, app_session_id, session_id, and client_event_id.
Associated analytics events, including screen_view, download_cta_click, and game-session activity.
App-side advertising diagnostics controlled by Tapperly.

What may be retained

Anonymous aggregate statistics that can no longer be linked to you may remain. A minimal deletion-request or security audit record may be retained for up to seven years where needed to demonstrate compliance, but it does not retain lobby profile or gameplay content. Google may separately control AdMob data; use Google My Ad Center for those choices.

Children’s Privacy

zTrivia+ is not directed to children below the minimum age required by applicable law. If we learn that personal data was collected from a child in violation of law, we will take steps to delete it.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and operational monitoring.

International Transfers

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
